After supper I noticed that the sky was clear, so I went down to the pond at our lodge with my tripod and took some pictures. I accented some areas with a flash.

Centennial Ridges
Since Nina proved her metal the day before, we challenged Centennial Ridges, one of the longest trails in the park. Even though we got there probably before 10am, the parking lot was already overflowing. Nina was complaining of bruises on her ankles and had a meltdown on bringing her normal shoes just in case. A portent of things to come.
The hike was hilly, but after a while we got to a look out with spectacular views. The trail continued along the ridge. All was well, but when we stopped for lunch, Nina was having doubts if she would be able to finish it. She was complaining about how I kept stopping to take pictures. The girls forged ahead and I finished the trail at my own pace.
